Cookies

Some of our web pages use cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain in your device's memory until you delete them. These cookies make it possible to recognize your browser when you next visit the site.

You can configure your browser to inform you about the use of cookies so that you can decide on a case-by-case basis whether to accept or reject a cookie. Alternatively, your browser can be configured to automatically accept cookies under certain conditions or to always reject them, or to automatically delete cookies when closing your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies which are necessary to allow electronic communications or to provide certain functions you wish to use (such as the shopping cart) are stored pursuant to Art. 6 paragraph 1, letter f of DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies to ensure an optimized service provided free of technical errors. If other cookies (such as those used to analyze your surfing behavior) are also stored, they will be treated separately in this privacy policy.

You can change the Cookies-Settings here.

Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in “server log files”. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

These data will not be combined with data from other sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing performance and user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.

You can register on our website to use additional functions on the site. We use the data entered only for the purpose of providing the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise we will refuse the registration.

In the event of important changes, such as the scope of the offer or technically necessary changes, we will use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you in this way.

The data entered during registration will be processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal e-mail. The legality of the data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data collected during registration is stored by us as long as you are registered on our website and is subsequently deleted. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

Leaving comments on this website

If you use the comment function on this site, the time at which you created the comment and your email address will be stored along with your comment, as well as your username, unless you are posting anonymously.

Storage of the IP address
Our comment function stores the anonymised IP addresses of those users who post comments. We subject all comments to an editorial review before activation on the website and reserve the right not to publish comments with infringing contents.

Subscribing to the comment feed
As a user of this site, you can sign up to receive the comment feed after registration. Your email address will be checked with a confirmation email. You can unsubscribe from this function at any time by clicking the link in the emails. The data provided with your subscription when you subscribed to the comments feed will then be deleted, but if you have submitted this data to us for other purposes or elsewhere (such as subscribing to a newsletter), it will be retained.

How long comments are stored
The comments and the associated data (e.g. IP address) are stored and remain on our website until the content commented upon has been completely deleted or the comments are required to be removed for legal reasons (slander, etc.).

Legal basis
The comments are stored based on your consent per Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO. You may revoke your consent at any time with future effect. An informal email making this request is sufficient. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

5 • Social
media

Share content via plugins (Facebook, Google+1, Twitter, etc.)

The content on our pages can be shared on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter or Google+ in accordance with data protection regulations. This site uses Heise Shariff with the Shariff Wrapper. This tool establishes direct contact between networks and users only when the user actively clicks on one of these buttons.

This tool does not automatically transfer user data to the operators of these platforms. If the user is logged in to one of the social networks, an information window appears when using the social buttons of Facebook, Google+1, Twitter & Co. in which the user can confirm the text before sending it.

Our users can share the contents of this site in social networks in compliance with data protection regulations without complete surfing profiles being created by the network operators.

Further information can be found on the Shariff Wrapper website: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/shariff/

6 • Analytics
and
advertising

Dynatrace

Our website uses the analysis tool Dynatrace. The application runs exclusively on our own servers and does not transmit any data to Dynatrace. The data can be used to create user profiles under a pseudonym. Cookies will be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of your Internet browser. Cookies make it possible to recognize your browser again. The collected data will not be used to personally identify visitors to our website without the separately given consent of the person concerned and will not be combined with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

Cookies remain on your terminal until you delete them. Dynatrace cookies are stored in accordance with art. 6 par. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymised analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise his website.

In addition, by enabling your browser's Do Not Track feature, you can ensure that no personal information is collected.
Further information can be found on the Dynatrace website in the Data Privacy and Security section: https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/data-privacy-and-security/

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyze the behavior of website visitors. The website operator receives various usage data, such as Page views, length of stay, operating systems used and origin of the user. This data may be combined by Google in a profile that is assigned to the respective user or their device.

Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the user to be recognized for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

This analysis tool is used on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.

IP anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. As a result, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. The full IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin

You can prevent Google from collecting and processing your data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can find more information on how Google Analytics handles user data in Google's data protection declaration: support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

Order processing

We have concluded an order processing contract with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Storage period

Data stored by Google at user and event level that are linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) are anonymized after 26 months or deleted. You can find details on this under the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=de

Leadfeeder

Simultaneously with the use of Google Analytics, amasol GmbH uses the service Leadfeeder, which is operated by Liidio Oy / Leadfeeder, Mikonkatu 17 C, 00100 Helsinki, Finland. Leadfeeder accesses the list of IP addresses of website visitors provided by Google Analytics in the evaluation and links the list of IP addresses with information about the companies that can be found on the Internet under these IP addresses. Due to the shortening of the IP addresses of the website visitors, which is already carried out when using Google Analytics, a direct reference to a person is not established. A reference to a person can be assumed when reviewing the linked company information.

LinkedIN Insight Tag

Our website uses the conversion tool "LinkedIn Insight Tag" of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company; Wilton Plaza; Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. This tool creates a cookie in your web browser, which enables the collection of the following data, among others: URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser properties (user agent), and timestamp. IP addresses are shortened or (if used to reach members across devices) hashed. Members' direct identifiers are removed within seven days to pseudonymize the data. This remaining pseudonymized data is then deleted within 180 days. LinkedIn does not share personally identifiable information with amasol, but only provides reports and notifications (in which you are not identified) about website audience and ad performance. LinkedIn also provides retargeting for website visitors, so amasol can use this data to display targeted ads outside of their website without identifying the member. We also use data that does not identify you to improve the relevance of ads and reach members across devices. For more information, please see LinkedIn's privacy policy: de.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy?

LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes in their account settings.

You can adjust your settings related to cookies in our cookie banner.
